Vegetable Fried Rice – Quick & Tasty Indo-Chinese Dish

Vegetable Fried Rice is a perfect way to reuse leftover rice. It’s a flavorful Indo-Chinese dish filled with sautéed veggies and a soy-based sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed veggies (carrot, beans, capsicum)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar (optional)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok, sauté garlic and onions.
  2. Add chopped vegetables, cook on high flame.
  3. Add soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix in rice and stir-fry on high heat.
  5. Garnish with spring onions and serve.

Tips

  • Use cold rice to avoid it turning mushy.
  • Add chili sauce for extra spice.
